Awards & Achievements

School Awarded
An organization named ‘Education World’ in a survey in India has ranked Mispa Mission Higher Secondary School, Sihora to be at the 10th position in the category of ‘Top 10 Budget Schools’ in Madhya Pradesh that provides best results in English Medium education in affordable fees. We stand in the first position in Jabalpur and 95th rank out of 144 schools in India. Award was received by the MD Mr. Varghese V.C. and Patron Mrs. Saramma Varghese.
 
 

Principal Awarded

The Principal Mr. Rajesh Punjabi was awarded by the Chief Minister of M. P. for achieving 100% results in 12th Board Examination. Every year, Mispa Mission School excels in the board results in Sihora. Most of the alumni have earned attractive jobs settling themselves in various metro cities of India and abroad as well.

Mohammad ArifMansoori has won gold medal in national level school athletics 2019 in Javellion throw, under 17.
Our former student Mr. ParthKurariya has achieved 270th rank in the UPSC CAPF (Central Armed Police Force) exam 2018 and directly appointed Group A Gazetted officer.
ShashankTiwari has cleared PSC and has become Forest Range Officer, Madhya Pradesh.
Dr. ShikhaGarg is a Senior Research Fellow in AIIMS, New Delhi.
In 2018, Deepa Patel scored 92.2% in M. P Board and achieved 2nd rank in District Merit list.
HimaniDua became the first IRS from Sihora working as Commissioner in Custom Office.
Our outgoing student ShubhamAgrahari was awarded by the speaker of Madhya Pradesh Legislative AssemblyMr. Ishwar Das Rohani for being selected as one out of 10 members squad of Madhya Pradesh State for the National level competition of ‘VigyanMantanYatra’.
Many students are awarded for their top performance in different fields of curricular and co-curricular activities every year.

Co-Curricular Activities

 

To develop the ability of team work the students are divided into four houses, ie, the House of Aaron, House of Betheny, House of Cyrus and House of David. Different kinds of competitions are conducted and points are given to both individuals and the House they belong to. Led by a talent pool of role model faculty, the teachers here work more as facilitators and guides to explore each child individually.

Talent Search Competitions

Different talent search competitions such as Drawing & Painting, Craft, Chart & Scrap book making, Model making, Science exhibition, Debate, Elocution, Essay writing, Poem writing, Poem recitation, Quiz, G. K. Aptitude test, etc. are conducted time to time. 

Sports & Games

Special attention is given to provide physical training to children. Annual Sports & Games Meet is conducted every year. All kinds of games and athletic items are included in the meet. Every year the talented sportsmen are being selected for district & state level inter school competitions. Few athletes had already represented M. P. in National level sports meet many a times.  

Cultural Competitions

Cultural competitions are conducted to give chance to all students to try their talents in the fields of Dance, Acting, Mimicry, Imitation, Fancy Dress, Singing, Playing musical instruments, etc. Winners are awarded in the Annual Function. Competitions are conducted class-wise for boys and girls separately.

Activities

Social Service Scheme

To develop inspiration in children for helping the needy people, a Social Service Scheme (SSS) has been constituted. Children collect small funds from their pocket money and help the poor. They offer service in person on the special occasions like ‘Gandhi Jayanti’. The social services such as planting trees, making houses, supplying books and uniforms, providing medical assistance are some of the ways they adopt to help the needy ones. 

Moral Value Programs

To make the children aware of their rights and duties, the able and talented students are given different duties. The best student of the class with good character and best performance in studies is made the monitor of the class. Specially designed badges engraved ‘A1’ & ‘A2’ are provided to promote and encourage students who secure above 81% marks in each examinations.

Prefect Council

A Prefect Council is formed every year. The council consistsof 10 members viz. School Captain and Vice-Captain; House Captains and Prefect Members from each house. The Council is directed by Students’ Mentor, Teacher In-charge and the Principal. Different duties are given to the council members to look after discipline, cleanliness, hygiene, etc. and to conduct different kinds of competitions and programs.

Personality Development

To create confidence in children, leadership chances are given to children to perform different group activities. Some talented students are promoted to anchor stage programs. By facing mass people their stage fear disappears and confidence is developed. Farewell programmes are conducted by students developing their ability to organize functions. Teachers give tips to develop the personality of the children guiding them to develop good body posture, manner of speaking, tone of speaking, way of treating others, etc.
